A emerging Indian jewellry brand was launching a new set of rings that looked very futuristic so they chose a futuristic technology (AR) to communicate and give the user an experience of what the rings would look like on their fingers. All the user had to do was scan and see the ring on their finger on their phone.
Postcards were brought back into fashion as a way of connecting people in the most interesting way, with AR. Empty postcards were sent by users to their loved ones and when they scanned via their phone, pictures and videos of the senders travels came to life. Highly engaging.
A car manufacturer wanted to use AR to showcase their new car range. They wanted the user to experience the new shape and model of the car. This appeared from a static medium on a small newspaper ad. And the car was in the living room of the user.
